Clay
is
31% New Avongara
Sire:
Dutton
Dam: Sage
Whelped: November
29, 2000
Clay
was returned to sinbajé in August
2006 after almost 6 years of living with
his previous owners. To say I was disappointed that a placement I
made was not life long is an understatement.
Health
The
OFA is a not-for-profit organization originally created to assist breeders
in decreasing hip dysplasia. The OFA offers PUBLIC health databases/registries
to assist breeders in assessing numerous other heritable concerns in their
respective breeds. Reputable breeders health test and use the OFA
as a means to display their progress.

Career Highlights
LURE
COURSING:
Clay
quickly earned his JC title and took a shot at coursing with competition.
Alas he was excused on his first run for interference so we will take it
slow. He was able to get himself 6 points towards his ASFA FCh as
well as garnering his first JOR leg in NOTRA so all is not lost.
The goal is to get all the kids more involved with NOTRA and LGRA in hopes
of getting them more focused on chasing the bag and not racing it.
AGILITY:
Clay
started out like a gangbuster in the Agility arena, I was excited to think
he would be an easy teammate; until he fell apart. Now that V is
actively showing, we've decided that Rand should be Clay's sole handler
- its working out GREAT!
OBEDIENCE:
Clay
has been shown sporadically since May 2007. I was mostly concentrating
on other dogs and their titles. Clay finished his AKC-CD at the CDO
show in March 2008. He finished with 3 class placements. I
will spend the summer training for his CDX and once Feigh gets her title,
Clay will hopefully be waiting in the wings.
RALLY:
Clay
earned his RN title in grand style with back to back perfect scores of
100; good enough for a 1st and 2nd placement. Read
all about it.
