Career Highlights
CONFORMATION:
V finishes
her AKC Championship from the very competitve
Bred-By Exhibitor class. She is the third sinbajé champion
in three litters.
V
earned her UKC Championship in straight shows with competition in each
show. She also won four (4) Group ones en route to her title.
V
had fun in her baby UCI classes and did rather well winning BOB all shows
over 6 other baby basenjis.
LURE
COURSING:
V
earns her JC at the CDO shows March 2008, then wins a 4pt major in her
first AKC trial. Read
more here. She is also pointed in ASFA from her first ASFA trial.
OBEDIENCE:
V
is almost like Sage reincaranted. I can not wait to try this baby
out in the ring. She currently has an awesome watch which I need
to strongly encourage. Unlike my previous 5 basenjis, I plan to do
a lot of proofing and showing in non regular classes to prep her for the
real thing.
V's
Novice debut is a stunner! She wins High In Trial at the 2010 National
Speciality (my third spHIT basenji, my second homebred basenji to do so).
Her score? 198 out of 200. This is my highest AKC score
to date, beating Feigh's score of 197. Wow. Our second time in the
ring, in 90+ degree heat, she laid down on the sit for an NQ. The
next day she earned a 2nd place with a 195. The top four dogs were
3 dobermans and V.
AGILITY:
V
has been practicing agility since she was weeks old and debuted mid March
2008 when she was 15 months old, and what a debut it was; read
all about her exciting debut. We hit a bit of a glitch as V is turning
out to be rather soft in new environments so we have been having fun in
the preferred classes and in no hurry to move up.
RALLY:
V entered
her first rally trial at 10 months of age at Nationals. She earned
a first placement. In February (at 14 months) we entered her in back
to back trials where we were so close to getting back to back perfect scores
(read
more here). She finished her RN with a perfect score of 100; one
of four 100s awarded that day. V's time was the fastest so she walked
away with a first placement.
V
recently finished her RE with placements.
